Although each department had a variety of storage media such as blue-print drawings for engineering; microfiche for geography; passports for human resources; invoices and receipts for finance; and folders, box files and hanging files for archives, as well as all other divisions throughout both companies; recommendations were made to the existing specifications and drawings. For example, each department required different shelf sizes, safety, security, and growth.

Trans Seas had optimized the space with each storage area by changing the previously designed static shelving to High-Density Mobile Storage Systems. All changes and recommendations were carefully reviewed and approved prior to manufacturing according to the as-built drawings.

Factory tour and visit to the manufacturing facility in the United States allowed the client to witness first-hand the quality of production and performance, and provided the client with the assurance that they were accepting a product built to their exact needs and made by the world’s largest and most qualified manufacturer of high-density mobile storage systems with the most patents on safety and security features and options available in the industry.

All systems are installed under the supervision of Trans Seas factory trained and certified technicians. Each level was delicately orchestrated in handling and maneuvering all materials to and from the loading docks to each respected area.

All systems were successfully installed with a variety of operation methods such as Mechanical-Assist (Ergonomic Turn- Crank Handles) and Power-Assist (Electrical). High Pressure laminate Face panels were selected to match the décor throughout the headquarters with walnut and cherry wood veneers for the Executive Managment levels. All systems installed are capable for future upgrades (technical advancement) whenever necessary for convenience, safety and security.

The operating staff of each department underwent a brief training of how to operate each system easily and effectively. We would also like to add that our successful installation and handing over of the high-density mobile storage systems are maintenance-free, leaving our client satisfied knowing that our local technical staff is readily available incase of any failure with parts available on-site. Trans Seas was successful in handling this portion of the project from start to finish.
